Independent Sales Agent - Maritime Capital Equipment - Multiple Locations

Acting as an Independent Sales Agent within assigned territory, promote the sale of equipment, supplies, and services, which require your technical knowledge of the maritime industry. The Sales Agent will be required to find and develop new clients, meet sales targets for the assigned territory, prepare and give presentations, develop proposals and negotiate contracts. All projects will be followed through from installation and startup, to maintaining long term relationships with the client for ongoing service and sales.
Requirements for this position are: minimum 5 years of sales background with capital equipment; experience selling to maritime clients; and a minimum 4 year technical degree or equivalent experience.
The candidate must be well organized, have excellent communication skills, and able to work independently. Travel is required to effectively support the sales campaigns throughout the territory. This product line can be an extension to an existing product line or service.
Initial technical training will be provided at EnSolve’s offices in Raleigh, NC. Additional technical and sales training will be provided within the territory, as needed. Periodic call summary reports will be required, as well as interaction with Engineering Department personnel on all projects.
The candidate MUST HAVE:
- Documented track record of success selling to maritime clients
- Solid relationships with technical and purchasing contacts in the industry
- References will be requested for verification
